Just a reminder that renewal fees for patent and trademark agents are due by March 31, 2020.

Failure to renew by the deadline can require a reinstatement fee and for those trademark agents who did not need to write the trademark agent exam would need to write and pass the exam. See CIPO’s notice about this deadline.

For trademark agents, there is an online renewal form.

For patent agents, renewal can be done using the online general correspondence page.

Note that firms will also have to renew their listing.
