CIPO has announced a consultation on Trademark Opposition Board procedures, including costs awards, confidentiality and case management.

The proposed regulations would implement various sections of an amended Trademarks Act that would come into force under the Budget Implementation Act, 2018, No.2 (Bill C-86), Section 4, Division 7 .
